Solid sophomore season in the NFL, there was no slump to be had. JF said he has arrived. No playoffs sadly but nice job taking down the Cowgirls and Seahawks to end the year.

Ayo Lamar!!
Damn shame just missing out on that Wild Card berth. Gotta get into those playoffs. Might have to leave the ATL to do it though

We'll see how this offseason shapes up.
We definitely made it known. JF is one of the elite receivers in the league & is only going to improve.YaBoyRobRoy wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025, 02:59Solid sophomore season in the NFL, there was no slump to be had. I have faith in Atlanta. But if we can't get it done soon we may have to explore that option. Not sure how much pull JF can have on the front office just yet.

Somerset High School Honors NFL Star' Jozif Farrakhan With Jersey Retirement, Statue, and Field Renaming

Somerset, KY — Somerset High School rolled out the red carpet today for their former high school football legend, turned collegiate national champion & Heisman trophy winner, NFL superstar' Jozif Farrakhan. He returns to his old stomping grounds for a ceremony retiring his iconic #88 jersey number.

In front of a packed crowd in the school’s basketball gym, administrators announced three major honors: First, his jersey will forever hang in the rafters at Somerset High School as well as no player will ever #88 for Somerset ever again. Secondly, the football field will be officially renamed Jozif Farrakhan Field, and construction will soon begin on a state-of-the-art athletics gymnasium funded by Farrakhan’s generous donation. & last, a statue of Farrakhan now sits in front of the school of Jozif hitting his signature Heisman pose with Somerset across his chest.

“It’s surreal to come back here,” Farrakhan told the students, standing beneath a banner of his jersey. “Back when I was runnin’ these halls, dreamin’ about makin’ it big, I never thought my name would be on that field. To all the young ones comin’ up from the ends, believe in your hustle, stay loyal to your people, and never forget where you came from. Somerset is always going to be home to me.”

The new gym is expected to break ground later this year, ensuring Somerset athletes will have the resources to follow in Farrakhan’s footsteps for generations to come.
Today marks Farrakhan's first return to Somerset High School since graduation & the entire has rolled the red carpet out to one of the league's best receivers today.

It's Been A Minute, Jade..
As Jozif received the incredible honors from Somerset High School, he couldn't help but notice a familiar face in the crowd.. & not only did he recognize his high school love, Jade, he saw their child, Jazmin Farrakhan, for the first time in years.
After the ceremony amid all of the photographs, he managed to pull Jade aside for a conversation.

“Wagwan Jade. Man weren’t expectin’ to see you ‘ere, swear. ”
“Yeah, well…this is my hometown too, remember?” Jade rebutted.
“Yeah…yeah, true. I was…gonna shout you after all this. Wasn’t tryna be rude. Just…lot goin’ on.”
“I figured. Big day, huh? Jersey on the wall…statue out front. Whole town screaming your name.”
“Mad, innit? Never thought man would end up back here. All them nights thinkin’ I was never gon’ make it out…& now they got me up there in bronze.” he says as he references the statue.
“Yeah. Funny how life flips. One minute you’re sneaking out these doors with me, next minute you’re an NFL superstar.” Jade shot back.
"I mean, you were the entire reason I transferred to Somerset in the first place.. We had a lot of good times in these halls.."

"& prom in the auditorium.. Twice!" Jade said with a smile.

Jozif took a moment to reminisce with Jade about their high school days & all of the fun the two had together.

“Yeah we did. Listen.. We come along way from these hallways, yeah.. How’s Jazmin? She…she good?”
“She’s fine. Growing fast. Always cheers for her daddy on tv. Actually there she is!”
Jade's mother approached with Jazmin from down the hallway as Jozif held his daughter for the first time in years.
"Wow! Look at you little one! It's good to see you Jazmin!" he said as he leaned down to hug her.
"Jaz! Look over here!" Jade said as she snapped a photo.

"You never know when she'll get to see her father again so.. Had to snap a pic." she said with a bit of sarcasm.
JF shrugs it off & continued talking to his daughter.
"So.. is your girlfriend here too? I didn't see her in the crowd."
"Actually me & dat ting split up a while back. She was busy doing her thing, yeah. Mans doing his thing. So, ya know. No girlfriend."
As he continued to pay attention to his daughter, Jade took an opportunity.
"Oh. Well that's surprising. You know, Jo'. You're more than welcome to come over & spend more time with Jazmin.."
Jozif glanced up at Jade with a grin & agreed to head over to their home after the festivities of his big day in Somerset.
It seems that things between Jozif & Jade can be smoothed over.. For now.
