wow d fish cooked! big z has to step it up a little bit here
Yeah Pau Gasol was also quiet so not sure what was going on really. Ben Wallace was non extistent for the Cavs too, and they can't afford that. This was his last real run this season.

Cavs in 7
They will need to step it up big time. Kobe was so dominant in this game. LeBron did absolutely everything for the team and still came up short. Always remember how good Bron was with the Cavs. I wish he never left them. Lets see how it plays out in this universe. If he wins a chip we could see a new path.

Clippers Hire Mike Budenholzer as New Head Coach, Ushering in a New Era
May 5th, 2009.

In a bold move signaling the start of a new chapter, the Los Angeles Clippers have hired Mike Budenholzer as their new head coach. The announcement comes just days before the NBA Draft Lottery, where the Clippers hold the third-best odds for the No. 1 overall pick. Budenholzer, known for his extensive experience working under legendary coach Gregg Popovich with the San Antonio Spurs, brings a wealth of knowledge and a reputation for strong leadership to a Clippers organization eager to reset its culture and build a winning team.

Budenholzer's Coaching Background
Mike Budenholzer spent 13 years with the San Antonio Spurs, where he served as an assistant coach under Gregg Popovich. During his tenure with the Spurs, Budenholzer was instrumental in helping the team secure four NBA Championships (1999, 2003, 2005, 2007). Known for his strategic acumen and player development skills, Budenholzer played a key role in establishing the Spurs' culture of excellence and consistency.

Leadership and Development
Budenholzer's deep understanding of the game and his experience in a championship-winning environment make him an ideal candidate to lead the Clippers. His tenure with the Spurs has equipped him with a comprehensive knowledge of both offensive and defensive strategies, as well as the ability to nurture and develop young talent. His approach emphasizes ball movement, teamwork, and disciplined play, aligning perfectly with the Clippers' vision for a successful future.

A New Direction for the Clippers
The Clippers have struggled to find consistent success and are looking to transform their fortunes. The hiring of Mike Budenholzer represents a significant step in resetting the organization's culture. Known for his strategic mindset, disciplined approach, and ability to develop players, Budenholzer's coaching philosophy is expected to bring a new level of professionalism and competitiveness to the team.

"We are thrilled to welcome Mike Budenholzer to the Clippers family," said Clippers General Manager Mike Hobbs. "Mike's track record with the Spurs speaks for itself. He brings the kind of leadership, experience, and winning mentality that we believe will be instrumental in building a new culture and leading our team to success."

Looking Ahead to the Draft
With the third-best odds in the upcoming NBA Draft Lottery, the Clippers are poised to add a potential franchise-altering player to their roster. Whether it's drafting a high-caliber guard like Stephen Curry or James Harden, or securing a dominant forward like Blake Griffin, Budenholzer's expertise in player development will be crucial in maximizing the talent of their new addition.

"I'm excited about the opportunity to coach the Clippers and to be part of building something special here," said Budenholzer. "This team has a lot of potential, and with the right pieces and the right mindset, I believe we can achieve great things. I'm looking forward to getting to work and helping this team reach its full potential."

Can Budenholzer Bring the Spurs' Style to the Clippers?
One of the biggest questions surrounding Budenholzer's hiring is whether he can successfully implement the Spurs' style of play in Los Angeles. The Spurs are known for their unselfish ball movement, staunch defense, and emphasis on team play—all hallmarks of their success over the past two decades. If Budenholzer can instill these principles in the Clippers, it could mark the beginning of a new era of sustained success.

Conclusion
The hiring of Mike Budenholzer marks a significant and promising step for the Los Angeles Clippers as they look to reshape their identity and build a winning culture. With Budenholzer at the helm and the potential to land a top draft pick, the future looks bright for the Clippers. Fans can look forward to a new era of Clippers basketball, driven by a coach with a proven track record of success and a commitment to excellence.

Clippers Win 2009 NBA Draft Lottery.

In a stunning turn of events, the Los Angeles Clippers have won the 2009 NBA Draft Lottery, securing the coveted first overall pick. The announcement brought jubilation to Clippers fans and front office alike, with owner Steve Ballmer leading the celebrations.

As the Clippers logo appeared on the screen during the live broadcast, Ballmer exuberantly threw his cap into the air, a symbol of the franchise's long-awaited stroke of luck. This moment marks a potential turning point for a team that has struggled to find success in recent years.

"This is a huge moment for us," Ballmer said, beaming with excitement. "It represents a new beginning and a chance to build something special."

The Clippers, who finished the 2008-09 season with a 19-63 record, are now in prime position to select a transformative player in the upcoming NBA Draft. With a roster featuring emerging talents like Eric Gordon and DeAndre Jordan, the addition of the number one pick could be the catalyst needed to elevate the team to playoff contention.

General Manager Mike Hobbs, who took over in March 2009, expressed his optimism about the future. "Winning the lottery is a game-changer. We're committed to making the right choice and setting this franchise on a path to sustained success."

Speculation is already rampant about who the Clippers will select with the top pick. The consensus among analysts points to Oklahoma's Blake Griffin, a dynamic power forward who has been touted as a potential franchise cornerstone. But neither Hobbs nor Ballmer would be drawn on who the franchise would select.

The final lottery positions were as follows:
  1. Los Angeles Clippers
  2. Memphis Grizzlies
  3. Oklahoma City Thunder
  4. Sacramento Kings
  5. Washington Wizards
  6. Minnesota Timberwolves
  7. Golden State Warriors
  8. New York Knicks
  9. Toronto Raptors
  10. Milwaukee Bucks
  11. New Jersey Nets
  12. Charlotte Bobcats
  13. Indiana Pacers
  14. Phoenix Suns
As the Clippers prepare for the draft, the sense of excitement and anticipation is palpable. The franchise, often mired in mediocrity, now has a golden opportunity to reshape its destiny. With Ballmer's passionate leadership and Hobbs' strategic vision, the Clippers are poised to make a significant impact in the NBA.

For Clippers fans, the draft lottery win is more than just luck—it’s a beacon of hope and a promise of better days ahead. The countdown to the draft begins, and all eyes are on the Clippers as they embark on this pivotal journey.

Got some big decisions to make this offseason! I am playing this on RPCS3. I lost my NBA2K9 PC DVD. And that costs like $400 at the moment!
