Broken Roads: Love Left Behind.
Shortly after making his decision to commit to Hawaii, Jozif's girlfriend Jade became very standoffish towards him. While she may have known that was his destination before everyone else did, she still wasn't happy about the fact the two would be separated after spending so much time together.
"Yo babes.. listen, yeah. We ain't breaking up or nothing, you get me? Mans gonna go do his thing & you keep it real here. We'll chat every day love."
"I know Jo.. It just.. sucks so bad..I'm just so sad.." Jade rebutted as she wept in Jozif's arms.
"You know you can come with mans to Hawaii. We can go there together love."
Jade shook her head no before responding, "Is it okay if I just want to be alone right now, Jo? I'm really happy for you & I know you made the right call.. But it just.. look I'll call you later tonight.."
Requesting to be by herself for a little while, Jo began to walk home when he received a text from his friend in Hawaii.
"I just saw the big news! I'm so excited you chose Hawaii! We're going to have so much fun together in college!
" Neolani said.
"Wagwan Neolani and preciate that! Been long time, you good?"
"I'm good! Just finished volleyball practice & now I'm working out."
Neolani followed up her picture message of her in the gym by asking "How are you Jozif?"
Jozif snapped a photo back & sent it her way.
"Mans fresh, gyal. Gassed to bust out of school & get to Hawaii.. Show mandem what Croydon is made of you get me? I'll be rolling with you Day 1 since you're mans only friend

With a little playful banter among platonic friends & the telling of how Jade isn't happy with his decision, the conversation eventually wraps up between the two.
"Aww poor girl
I hope she's okay! I gotta run though.. Heading to the beach with some friends! Can't wait to see you again, Jo! Have a great weekend!

I'm ready to get started. I can hear them on ESPN now talking about this kid named Farrakhan catching bombs & waves.
#JustAKidFromCroydon Hopefully we can crack into a starting position sooner than later. I wanted to be a big time player so that's why we picked Hawaii. Would've rode the bench at Ohio State & possibly Kentucky as well for the first season or two.

Somerset High School' Prom 2024.
Jozif & Jade attended Somerset's Prom together for the 2nd straight year & hit it off as most young lovers would expect to.
They took their photo after being voted as SHS's favorite couple ahead of the event.
Together they are undeniably in love & the two danced the night away, as they should..
.. & then Jade dropped a proper bomb shell on her British boyfriend on the dance floor.
"Jo.. I have to tell you something that I've been keeping a secret for a while.."
"What is it babes? You don't have to keep secrets from mans.."
She leaned in to speak directly into her lovers ear.
"Jo, my love.. I'm pregnant.."
Stunned with the news, Jozif didn't know whether to be happy or worried. Instead, he held his cool for the sake of the lady in his arms.
"Oh.. Are you sure, babes?"
"I'm sure.. I've taken three tests & they're all positive.. I know that's not what you want to hear-"
"Relax babe, yeah.. We'll get through this.. How long have you known?"
"About 4 days now.. I just didn't know how to tell you.. Or my parents.."
"We'll get through this. I'm happy though. You're beautiful babes. I love you more than everything innit.."
The two held each other close & danced some more amid the unanticipated news ahead of Jozif's future collegiate football career.
For Jade, her future seemed pretty obvious, however for Jozif, he had a new circumstance to consider.
