Honestly, yes and no, but more yes than no. Thing is, even playing on player lock, you have the ability to force your A.I. teammate to shoot the ball. But if you're letting them play it out themselves, then that's that.
You either get the assists. they try to do something with it, or they pass the ball around as they would in MyCareer.

I didn't ask for him, but I won't say no

I think he'll do very well with us next season. I'm thinking of moving Al in the off-season to give Christian that space & time

For a second I thought this might be a Myleague, presented as a MyCareer, with complete control of the league while still providing that good in-depth focus on Johan

It is. MyNBA is the culmination of both MyLeague & MyGM on Next-Gen. Before starting a chise, you can customize all the details of both modes into one. Say like, you want to run one without socializing with the organization, you can do that. You want to just add the budgeting system from MyGM, you can do that. You want to just earn skill points to utilize the GM skills, you can do that. It's nearly limitless to how you want to set it up.
