Wolves Sign Axel Tuanzebe from Bournemouth for £9.5M

Image
With Bournemouth's relegation confirmed, Wolves moved quickly to poach what they could from the club. They identified Axel Tuanzebe as a key target and have signed him from the Cherries for a £9,500,000 fee. The 23-year-old central defender has great potential and his ability to play centrally, right center-back in a back three or even right back makes him an excellent fit for the 5-2-3 formation that Wolves plan to deploy next season. He will earn £45,000 per week at the club.

Diogo Jota Returns to Wolves in Shock Transfer

Image
With the season still winding down, Wolves aren't resting on their laurels. In fact they've gone back to the well they once fished from to bring back Diogo Jota on the left-wing. Jota originally left the club when contract negotiations broke down and his release clause was triggered by Inter, but he has not enjoyed his time in Italy, and loved the idea of returning to Molineux where he was so successful. In exchange, Wolves are sending Ryan Sessegnon and a £15M fee to Inter Milan. Jota will be one of the highest wage earners at the club, earning £77K per week on his new deal with the team. Welcome back, Diogo!

Wolves Swap Nabil Fekir for Joao Cancelo

Image
Turns out the rumours were true. Wolves do not have a #10/attacking midfielder in their plans for next season and Nabil Fekir has been shown the door as a result. In exchange for Fekir and £10,000,000, Wolves will receive Joao Cancelo. Cancelo is one of the best right-backs in the world, and a Portuguese national like Jota and Neves, making him a natural fit for the team. He will act as a mentor for Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Ethan Moore, with Matt Doherty likely pursuing an exit due to a lack of gametime going forwards. Cancelo will become the highest paid player at the club, earning £100K per week.

Wolves Sign Norberto Neto on Free Transfer

Image
Wolves seem to have an obsession with Valencia, as they've gone for another one of their players here. This time it's the out-of-contract Norberto Neto. The 31-year-old Brazilian is one of the best keepers in LaLiga, and with Nuno not particularly pleased with how Muric performed as his number 1 this past season, it's understandable why he would want to make an upgrade. With Neto being in the last year of his deal, Wolves were able to sign him on a free transfer and will pay the keeper £65K per week.
