In a world where franchises are born from pixels and passion, the DS Hall of Fame stands as a monument to those who turned the grind into greatness. This isn't just about playing the game — it’s about reshaping it. Transforming menus into memories. Taking a simple franchise file and making it feel like legacy.

The first nomination cracked the seal — proof that this community isn’t just active, it’s elite. And now, we keep the fire burning.

Today, we proudly announce the second-ever nomination into the DS Hall of Fame — a creator whose vision transformed stats into stories, and sliders into soul. Through unmatched creativity, attention to detail, and a relentless drive to build something bigger than wins and losses, this nomination recognizes more than a save file. It honors a legacy.

Each update from this chiser didn’t just inform — it inspired. They took every post, every screenshot, and every stat line and made it feel personal. Like we were all part of the journey. Like we had to see what happened next.

This is more than a nod. It's a standing ovation. Is Strength in Unity. next to join the DS Hall of Fame?

2013 to 2045 is quite a grind for a dynasty.

Too long to recount all of the accolades but perhaps Soap would like to shed some light on why this thread belongs in the DS Hall of Fame.

Voting will be up 5 days. (May 31 - June 5)

A majority decision will decide the HOF fate for the nomination.

The creator of the thread is more than welcome to share more insight on this chise amid voting.

Why did you choose this team?

How does this chise separate from your other works?

What was your biggest hurdle of this chise & how did you overcome?

I went to USF and I had fun rebuilding Kentucky in my last CFB chise on Simulation Sports so wanted to do another rebuild. USF was coming off a 3 win season in the 2013 version of the game and had just hired a new coach so I essentially replaced Willie Taggart with Malcolm Francois, a fictional coach.

How does this chise separate from your other works?
It's my Mona Lisa. It's my longest chise both in terms of in-game period (I think I stopped at year 31) and how long it lasted from 2020 until basically last year. I think it shows my growth and evolution as a chiser where in the beginning it was just box scores and recruiting updates but by the end, I feel like I did a good job of creating a world around the games with storylines, writing from different perspectives as different writers and presentation improved as well.

This was also the first chise where within the chise itself, I kept referencing the past and 'honoring' past players which not only helped with the aforementioned immersion but also kept past players and the history of the chise fresh in my reader's mind without constantly having to go back to remember who they were

NCAA 14 sucks. CFB Revamped helped a ton as it gave the game a more modern look and really fit in well with the chise's timeline since it did span over 30 years so the fact that earlier screenshots show different uniforms than the last ones, it worked out well. The gameplay was still terrible but by the end, I had used mods to help with that as well as some house rules, which I use to this day.

Favorite Player or Memory?
The first national championship with Michael Harrell was pretty special as it wasn't the super team that I would later build in the other championship years. As far as favorite player, it's a toss up between Chris Wallace and Roger Shaw Jr.. Wallace is by far the most dominating tight end I've had in any chise and Shaw was just a super fun player, felt like I could score at any moment with him.

Appreciate the nod and the votes.
