Maddux Trujillo, you are so lucky that Temple is not a good team. If the city of Philadelphia cared about this team, you would have been sentenced to death row for what you have done this game. YOU MISSED FROM 28 AND 31 YARDS. I don't care if you got iced. You're a senior! Play like one! We would've won this game if you were not complete trash.
The Temple offense showed some improvements this week, but it was not without its hiccups. Forrest Brock looked like a proper quarterback in his first drive, resulting in a 11 yard touchdown pass to John Adams on a slant from an RPO play. Unfortunately, it all went downhill for Brock after that. In back-to-back drives to finish the second half, Brock was sacked for a safety and threw an interception in the red zone.
Coming out of halftime, Evan Simon came out as the one under center for Temple. In his first play as an Owl, he threw a pick six to Colin Ramos. Temple fans may have felt doubtful in the change in quarterback, but the Rutgers transfer was not fazed. With over two minutes left in the fourth, Simon led Temple on a 72 yard march down the field to give them a 14-10 lead. One minute later, Navy answered back after quarterback Blake Horvath caught Temple cornerback Corey Washington sleeping and threw a 49 yard touchdown to wide receiver Nathan Kent.
Simon once again led Temple down the field to set up Maddux for a 31 yard field goal attempt to force overtime. Sadly, Temple's kicker is auditioning to go play in China next season instead.

"I’ll never understand how college and NFL football teams allow kickers that just.... miss... kicks. I feel like there has to be pools of kickers in the USA that won’t miss simple kicks. Or snappers that won’t mess the snaps idk man it seems so SILLY. Would love opinions on this." - Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, 2019
