23.5 sacks in 14 games. He really might hit 30 :obama:
its possible but we're playing some solid teams down the stretch so it'll be tough

Steelers Need Rodgers To Rediscover His Groove - And Fast

Image

Pittsburgh, PA. - The Pittsburgh Steelers stormed into 2025 looking like contenders, racing out to a 7–2 record behind 42-year-old Aaron Rodgers and one of the league’s most explosive passing attacks. Early on, Rodgers and DK Metcalf looked unstoppable, connecting for 15 touchdowns in the first nine games and sparking talk of Metcalf chasing Randy Moss’ single-season record of 23 scores.

But as the temperatures have dropped, so has Pittsburgh’s offense. Over the last five games, the Steelers are just 2–3—and the Rodgers–Metcalf connection has gone ice cold. Metcalf has only three touchdowns in that stretch and has been held under 100 yards in consecutive games, while Rodgers has thrown eight interceptions and failed to top 250 passing yards in any of those contests.

Pittsburgh managed to squeak past the Bills and Ravens thanks to late defensive stands, but when Tua Tagovailoa and Jaylen Waddle torched the secondary, the cracks were impossible to ignore. Rodgers tossed two more interceptions and lost a fumble as Miami raced to a 24–7 lead, leaving the Steelers looking flat and frustrated.

If the season ended today, Pittsburgh would hold the AFC’s No. 2 seed. But with road games looming against the Lions and Browns—who already beat the Steelers once behind a remarkable outing by rookie Shedeur Sanders—followed by a finale in Baltimore, it’s not hard to imagine a freefall.

“Father Time caught up to him,” one AFC coach said of Rodgers’ sudden decline. “He’s making the right reads, but the arm strength just isn’t there. You can throw on target, but if the ball doesn’t get there fast enough, defenses recover. That’s what you’re seeing.”

Steelers fans know this script well: a hot start, a midseason stumble, and just enough defense to limp into the postseason under Mike Tomlin, only to bow out quickly. Unless Rodgers finds a way to turn back the clock, Pittsburgh is staring at another déjà vu January exit.

shame on my family. We actually kept Hill locked down, but two big plays from Waddle was the difference. That, and suddenly Rodgers looks like a 42 year old man :fml:

Getting spanked by the Dolphins don't sit right with my soul. Glad you guys got your get-back against the Lions though.
