Glad you had that FCS palette-cleanser after that tough Sam Houston result

Alejado balled out, we needed that one like you guys said. Much needed confidence to rebound moving forward, and a much needed rest for UNLV. Thanks for checking in guys!

UNLV Outlasts Miami (OH) in Wild Back-and-Forth Battle in Oxford
OXFORD, OH -- In a game that had just about everything — explosive quarterback runs, fourth-quarter drama, a critical turnover, and a late-game field goal — the UNLV Rebels escaped Oxford with a thrilling win over Miami (OH), outlasting the Redhawks in a 21-20 classic on Saturday afternoon.
UNLV raced out to a double-digit lead behind dynamic signal-caller Alex Orji, who scored on a 22-yard touchdown run midway through the second quarter to give the Rebels a 14-point lead. His ability to escape pressure and take off against man coverage left the Miami defense scrambling.
“The offense goes as he goes,” coach Dan Mullen said postgame. “He gives us a chance on every snap.”
After falling behind early, Miami found its footing late in the second quarter. Quarterback DeQuan Finn connected with receiver Darion Williamson on a key RPO, setting up a touchdown run by Kenny Tracey to trim the deficit to 21–14 heading into the half.
Leading 21-17 with nine minutes left to play, UNLV looked poised to put the game away. But as the Rebels tried to run the clock out, disaster struck — Orji lost the ball on a designed keeper, and Miami pounced on the fumble deep in Rebel territory.
With a short field ahead the Redhawks had a chance to take the lead but were cut short after a sack by defensive tackle Jalen Lee. They would settle for a field goal to make it a 1-point game with four minutes left.
Miami still had all three timeouts remaining with a chance to get a stop and the ball back to complete the comeback win, but it was not to be, as UNLV gained three straight first downs to run the remainder of the clock out and to secure their second straight win.
