Racing Louisville Reaches Extension With 3x Golden Boot, 3x NWSL Champion, & Team Captain, Ella Palis.

Ella Palis joined Racing Louisville in 2025 as a potential mid-field defender. Little did head coach Filipa Patão know, she just signed the best player to ever wear a Racing Louisville uniform.

With three straight Golden Boot performances as well as a three-peat with Racing (twice as team captain), Ella Palis has earned her flowers in Louisville.

"The last thing we would ever want is to lose Ella. She's the heartbeat of this team & the leader these girls need. Everyone is behind her 100% of the way." Filipa Patão told ESPN.

The French native Palis signed a 3-year extension with Racing Louisville, solidifying Patão's commitment to returning to the NWSL championship in the near future.

For Racing, keeping the core together is still going to be a challenge as Taylor Flint, Erëleta Memeti, & Alisha Lehmann are in the final year of their contract.
