Salford City Announce Andy Cole as New Manager

Salford City FC have a new manager, and his name is Andy Cole. With the club being owned by several members of Manchester United's former class of '92, who better to hire than a player who previous played with the class, and is looking to get his feet wet as a manager? Enter, Andy Cole, one of Manchester United's greatest ever strikers and now the footballing boss at Salford City. Cole is set to earn a somewhat modest wage of ₤13,000 per week as bench boss.

Salford Agree to Sell Two Youngsters in January

Anointed Chukwu and Kamar Moncrieffe, a pair of 18-year-old strikers, will both leave the club in January after Andy Cole deemed them as not part of his plans. Moncrieffe is headed to Rakow Czestochowa for a £79,000 fee, while Chukwu joins Kristiansun for £90,000. Both deals are fully agreed but cannot be finalized until January when the transfer market reopens.
