Spurs dethrone shorthanded Kings for second consecutive win, 111-106
November 11, 2024 -- Frost Bank Center

SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio faced off with a Sacramento team who was missing two key bigs in Domantas Sabonis and Alex Len, and they took advantage – winning the rebounding matchup and points in the paint, and beat the Kings 111-106 for the third win of the season.

Devin Vassell once again led scoring for the Spurs with 26 points, but Harrison Barnes (19 points), Keldon Johnson (18 points), and Victor Wembanyama (17 points, nine boards, three blocks) followed right behind him.

Though it wasn't a flashy performance, leader Chris Paul played an efficient game with 12 points, three dimes, and four steals, and made things tough for De'Aaron Fox in key moments.

Injury Report -- SAC Domantas Sabonis (Nose) - DNP, SAC Alex Len (Leg) - DNP, SA Zach Collins (Sickness) - DNP

Up Next -- San Antonio looks to extend its winning streak to three on Wednesday night, welcoming the Washington Wizards (3-6) to town for a cross-conference matchup.

That give-and-go is pretty as hell. Good job sniping your second win in a row. Time to go on a streak

Spurs extend win streak to three with win over Wizards, 110-108
November 13, 2024 -- Frost Bank Center

SAN ANTONIO -- Washington jumped out to an early lead, scoring 36 first-quarter points, but San Antonio rallied back to overcome a 14-point deficit and get their third consecutive victory with a 110-108 win at home.

Malaki Branham provided a spark off the bench in the second quarter with six straight points to help the Spurs' rally, including a three-pointer and an and-1 dunk and free throw.

Washington closed the gap, going on a 9-0 run in the fourth quarter to bring the game within reach, but momentum shifted back when Devin Vassell knocked down a three, one of six on the night for him.

Kyle Kuzma tried to carry his team to victory, but it was too little, too late, as San Antonio held on for the win.

Up Next -- San Antonio kicks off the Emirates NBA Cup with a home game against the struggling Los Angeles Lakers (3-8).
